Dana has been a member of the Cliffside Park Borough Council since 2001. She is liaison to the public library, and Commissioner to the Fire and EMS Departments. Prior to serving on the council, Dana was a trustee for the Library Board. After the fire at the library, Dana assisted in the planning for the library’s refurbishment. She also works closely with the Fire and EMS Departments in securing new emergency vehicles and equipment. Dana is an educator who has served our school district as a teacher, curriculum coordinator and supervisor of instruction. She was recently appointed as Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Dana received her: Bachelor of Science cum laude in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University in 1986; Master of Education in Reading and Reading Specialist Certificate summa cum laude from William Paterson University in 1991; Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Certificate of Supervision summa cum laude from St. Peter’s College in 2010. She also trained through Rutgers University as Reading Recovery teacher. She is a member of the 200 Club of Bergen County, serving as the scholarship chairperson. In 2013, Dana published a book about Cliffside Park entitled Going ‘Round Cliffside Park: An Alphabetical Ride Through Our Borough. Dana is a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church. She resides on Oncrest Terrace with her husband, Brian, and their children, Christian and Briana.
|Larry has resided in Cliffside Park for over 23 years. He is a member of the Cliffside Park Volunteer Fire Department and the Men’s Club. He also serves as a representative to the Southeast Bergen Regional Community Development Committee, which helps bring in grant monies to our Borough. These monies help us make improvements and expand programs with no cost to taxpayers. Larry has been on the Council since 1993 and serves as liaison to the Board of Health, Building and Grounds Department and Public Transportation. He is a graduate of Cambridge College with a concentration in Business Administration. In 2003, Larry donated a kidney to his son, Bryan. He is a Solid Waste Manager at the Bergen County Utilities Authority and is a member of the CWA. He and his wife, Toni, reside on Dewey Avenue with their children, Bryan and Caitlin.
